My name is Christina McQueen.
I am the founder of 17Rootea, and this brand was born from my own journey of healing.
With 15 years of experience as the owner of a medical aesthetics practice, I have always pursued the highest standards of beauty, health, and care. But even with this background, I discovered that true wellness must go deeper than external treatments.
I once only cared about appearances.
Motherhood and business wore down my body. I had no time to exercise and often survived on low-calorie but nutrient-poor foods. Doctors could only offer temporary fixes with medicine, never the root solution.
So I made a decision.
I studied, researched, and for 7 years healed myself through food, exercise, and mindset. I overcame allergies and regained my health.
But I always felt left out—
I couldn’t enjoy boba tea or ice cream like everyone else.
So I decided:
“Let’s create food and drinks that everyone can enjoy safely and healthily.”
That’s how 17Rootea was born.
We use only the highest quality ingredients, just like I do at home:
organic milk, organic sugar, fresh organic vegetables, organic herbs, and pure ginseng tea. Even our ice cream is made simply and cleanly.
Our menu isn’t just for a treat—it can also be a healthy meal replacement for busy modern people, just like it has been for me.
In the future, I aim to go beyond food and develop edible skincare, because the largest organ in our body is the skin.
My healing wasn’t just about what I ate.
